Pralus

Pralus began as a French patisserie in 1948. In 1991, Francois Pralus decided to get further involved in artisanal chocolate making and began to manufacture fine chocolate from bean to bar. By doing so, he has been able to discover the unique flavor characteristics in each variety and has developed single-origin and blended bars that demonstrate the magical possibilities of chocolate. Francois works with the best available cacao beans of each variety from all over the world, importing 18 different kinds of beans from Central America, South America, Africa, Asia and the Pacific for his chocolate. He recently acquired a plantation in Madagascar on which he has planted personally chosen fine cacao which will be ready for harvest in a few years. A truly devoted artisanal chocolate maker!
