Amedei's story is one of perseverance and success, stemming from a passion for chocolate. Alessio and Cecilia Tessieri, brother and sister, work together to create heavenly chocolate here on Earth, in an Italian countryside east of Pisa to be exact. Alessio travels the world sourcing out high quality cacao beans while Cecilia develops the best recipes for the chocolate. Amedei's Porcelana bar is made from pure criollo cacao and their Chuao and "9" are world-renowned. Amedei maintains close relationships with the cacao producers, and even owns plantations in Venezuela, allowing careful monitoring of the cacao through each stage of processing. The result is delectably smooth, rich, flavourful chocolate that would delight the most selective chocolate connoisseur.
